Café De Piccolo
Search Café De Piccolo. Everything comes up, except a page that is yours.
A case study by Jitter Squad Media (opens in a new tab)
Who is telling your story?
A friend says it over coffee: you have to try Piccolo. The phone comes out and the name goes in.
Tripadvisor, District, Zomato, Instagram, Google Maps. Rankings, discounts, posts, pins. Everything about Piccolo appears, in everyone’s words but yours.
A website is the one result where you tell the story, in your words. It is the only result missing.

We have seen your Dehradun website.
cafe-piccollo.shubhkarmatech.com, built in 2025. We read it page by page. It is a website nobody can find: not a person searching, not a search engine, not an AI.

The good
- The type: a Didone over a quiet grotesk, and the seal.
- The menu is typed: 123 prices, in sections, with descriptions.
- A live review count in the bar.
The bad
- Search your name and it does not come up. No listing points to it, and it is not on a domain of yours.
- A search engine cannot read it: every page has the same title and description, no structured data, no sitemap.
- An AI cannot use it: nothing on it says what Piccolo is in a form a machine reads.
- Sent as a link, it shows a blank: no preview image.
- It opens on a black screen and a button: Enter Website.
- Chandigarh is not mentioned anywhere: one brand, two cafés, and your only site knows one.
The ugly
- The Story page opens on a stock photograph of an underwater restaurant.
- It says “since 2020”. Your trademark is from 2017.
- It lives on the agency’s subdomain, with their name in the footer.
A website that neither people nor machines can find is a brochure in a drawer. The home we propose does not sit beside it. It replaces it, with a page for each café.
Tripadvisor answers.
A guest checks Piccolo on Tripadvisor and taps the button marked Website. It opens your Instagram.
The rest of the answer is a good one: third of 782 restaurants in Chandigarh, a 5.0 from 230 reviews, this year’s Travellers’ Choice badge.

#3 of 782 restaurants in Chandigarh.
5.0 from 230 reviews.
2026 Travellers’ Choice, this year’s badge.
A home answers this: the button opens a page that is yours.
As of 6 October 2026, from tripadvisor.in.
Then the discounts, then the feed.
District answers next. Rated 4.6 by 1,554 people, and then the page gets to work for District. The first thing a newcomer learns about one of the best-rated cafes in the city is that it is on offer.
Instagram answers last. Whatever you posted this week: a reel, a plate, a weekend special. Not the menu, not the reviews, not the room on a quiet afternoon, not why Piccolo exists. The bio points to the sister cafes, and that is the closest thing to a story anyone finds.

What they read
- Flat 15% off, limited slots.
- Flat 10% off, all day.
- Six bank cards, a discount on each.
- A Book a table button that belongs to the platform.
Instagram shows your latest. Nobody is shown your best. A home answers this: your best, in your words, first.
As of 6 October 2026, from district.in.
Then they ask an AI.
People now ask an AI. On 7 October 2026 we asked the ones they use, Google’s AI Mode, ChatGPT and Brave, for Chandigarh’s best restaurants. Five answers named twenty-nine places. Not one was yours.
A website is not what got them named: twelve have no working one. What they have is writing about them, in lists and in the press, and no newspaper has written about Piccolo in Chandigarh.
A home will not get you named by itself. It gives every AI, and every journalist, one page that says what Piccolo is, in your words.

Press and lists are where they learn that it matters. The home is the part you own.
As of 7 October 2026, from google.com, chatgpt.com and search.brave.com.
What you have, and what you do not.
Three things you will say, and the problem behind each.
“We are on every platform. Zomato and Swiggy bring the orders, District the tables.”
Every one of them describes Piccolo in its own words, and none in yours. Keep them all: they will go on bringing the orders and the tables. A home adds the one page that says what Piccolo is, in your words, and that you own.
“We have two outlets. One website should show the brand and both of them.”
Today no page shows both: your Dehradun site shows Dehradun, and every listing shows one café. Agreed, and that is the proposal: one home on the brand domain, the story told once, the menu as text, and a page each for Dehradun and Chandigarh with its own facts, hours, number and photographs. Your Dehradun site folds into it.
“Someone is already building one.”
Nothing is live: cafedepiccolo.co.in has shown an under-construction page since 23 July 2026, and no one can see who holds it. If it is your team or an agency, this case study is their brief and the documents are yours. If it is not, someone else holds an address with your name, and that is the first thing to find out.
Nothing here asks you to leave a platform. It asks you to own the one page they all point at.
Trust is built before the first visit.
Nobody books a ₹2,600 dinner on a number. They look for a face, a room, a reason to believe the number. Today the search gives them a discount.
A home shows the people, the standard and the story before anyone walks in. It shows the reviews beside the places they were said. It shows hours that are right and a number that is answered.
A first-time visitor calls that trust. A regular calls it knowing the place.

Ratings are numbers. A home is a first impression you control.
What people say about you, on a page of your own.
Two hundred and thirty people wrote about Piccolo on Tripadvisor alone. Not one of their words is on a page you own.
High expectations, none unmet: the cheesy pizza, the baked chicken lasagna, the Nutella cheesecake.

Hosted a community brunch here, found the team warm from the planning to the day, and wants to host more.

A cosy room, really tasty food, and staff described in one word: amazing.

What a home holds.
One home on your own domain, where every search for your name lands, in either city. It is home to:
Your vision. What Piccolo is for, and where it is going.
Your philosophy. Why the food is the way it is, and the standard behind it.
Your story. Where it began, and the people behind the counter.
Both cafés. Rajpur Road in Dehradun and Madhya Marg in Chandigarh, each on its own page, in your photographs, the way you would show a friend.
The menu. As text, current and readable on a phone, with no app and no login.
The reviews you choose. From Tripadvisor, District and Google, side by side.
A line of your own. For brunches, events and big tables, on WhatsApp.
The answer key. One name, and for each café one number, one closing time, and the link every listing in that city points to, as data a machine can read.

Twelve listings, one answer key.
Twelve listings of the Chandigarh café disagree on the basics: when you close, which number to call, what dinner costs, what you serve. Every wrong closing time is a guest at a shut door.

What you serve
The home is the answer key: one name, one number and one closing time per café, in your words. We settle them with you in the first conversation, then copy them to every listing in launch week.

Yours would be the first.
No independent we found in Sectors 7, 9 and 10 has a website; the cafes that do belong to groups. The hotel restaurants in Tripadvisor’s top ten have their chains’ pages; the cafes around you have Instagram and the aggregators.
Being first says you cared enough about your name to tell its story yourself, and to keep telling it. That is the difference between a home and a brochure in a drawer.
Having a place that tells your story in your words says you care.
The first screen of the home.
We have explored different versions of your website, each with a home and a menu, on a desktop and on a phone. Here is a glimpse of them. We would like to talk to you first, before we show you more.

The photographs are of the Chandigarh room, from the Zomato gallery. The prices on the menus are a sample from your card and Zomato, read in October 2026, to confirm with you.
The first conversation.
These are yours.
Seven working documents, written to build this page and to build your home. They are yours whichever way you decide: take them to anyone. Each says where its facts were read.
Your brand, as we read it
What you say about yourselves, what your room says, your mark, your type, your colours and your voice, each with where we read it.
Read the brand documentThe canonical facts sheet
One version of your name, address, phone, hours, price band and booking channels, each fact marked confirmed or to confirm with you.
ReadThe site map and what fills it
Eight pages, one for each café, what each holds, what exists today and what we need from you.
ReadThe menu, structured
Your carte as it exists online in two differing versions, the categories, the items with prices as we read them, and how the menu works on your home.
ReadThe review wall
Eleven voices chosen from Tripadvisor, Google, District and Justdial, how we chose them, and what the wall must not do.
ReadThe photography brief
Twelve shots your home needs, in what light, in what format, and what never to use.
ReadLaunch and care
The domain, the launch week that fills every empty website field, what search engines read, and the monthly care that keeps your home current.
