The photography brief
Every picture on your home page today is stock. Every picture on your new website is yours. This is how to take them without a photographer.
What you already have
Four photographs, uploaded to your blog. Good work, phone pictures. They carry the case study until there are better ones.

The jaali partitions, lit.
A kitchen on handover day.
A study wall, with the diagonal shelving.
A study desk, with oval fluted-glass shutters.
At every handover, before the garland comes down
- Clean the site. Take away the boxes, the tools and the cut pieces on the floor.
- Every light on, cove lights and cabinet lights included.
- Phone held level, at chest height, straight at the work.
- One wide picture of the room, one straight on, two close-ups: a hinge, an edge, a handle.
- One with the shutters open, so the inside shows.
- The garland picture, every time. It is yours, and nobody else has it.
Named, so it can be found
- Room, area, month: kitchen-indiranagar-2026-10.jpg.
- Sent to us on WhatsApp the same day, with one line on what it is.
- With the customer’s permission to show it. Never their face, never their address.
Never again
- Stock photographs of rooms you did not make.
- Renders passed off as finished work.
- Pictures with workers, tools or wrapping still in them.
